Video Production

This semester-long course introduces students to the art and technology of digital video production. Students learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling, including story development, filming techniques, camera composition, lighting, audio, editing, and post-production. Through hands-on projects, students create a variety of original video productions, including commercials, public service announcements, short films, and other creative media. Students gain experience working both independently and collaboratively while exploring production roles such as director, camera operator, editor, and actor. Acting opportunities are available but are not required.
