MNOHS is a nationally accredited public charter school for grades 9-12 (including younger students who are ready for high school coursework). Flexible Learning Pathways

• Comprehensive Full-Time or Part-Time Enrollment: Work toward your diploma with MNOHS as your school or supplement other schools with individual courses.
• PSEO (Postsecondary Enrollment Options): Earn college credits while completing high school requirements.
• Adult Diploma Preparation: Pursue your diploma on your schedule if you're an adult learner.
• Individual Courses: Take specific classes that fit your academic or career goals.
• MNOHS Peer Leader Program: Develop leadership skills while supporting your school community.

Graduation Requirements

Minnesota Online High School supports students with a clear and flexible graduation pathway. The expectations below help students and families map coursework, monitor credits, and stay on track for an options-rich future.

Fast facts:

• 21.5 total credits are required for graduation.
• Students must satisfy each subject-specific requirement listed in the official guide.
• The school year is organized into four 8-week quarters.
• Students earn final course grades at the end of each quarter.
• Each quarter-length course is worth 0.25 credit.
• A full-time schedule can earn up to 6.0 credits per year.

MNOHS core staff has worked together in online education since 2005, with some team members teaching online since 1997. Our work aligns with iNACOL standards for quality programs, courses, and teaching, and MNOHS is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI).
