Course Details
In Part 1 of this semester-length course, you have space to:
- Explore interests
- Discover strengths
- Determine safety and fit of potential career choices
- Create an online portfolio
The goal is to define who you are based on your interests, experiences and skills.
Part 2 is a deeper dive. You will now look at training options for cost and value, including:
- College
- Apprenticeships
- Certifications
- Internships
When finishing this course, you will have a descriptive and attractive set of artifacts to use after high school.
Course Materials: All are available online or within the course.
Standards met: U.S. Department of Labor, The Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS).
