Minnesota Online High School has close to 100 semester and quarter length courses developed by our own teachers.
Part-time (supplemental) students may take up to 50% of their courses at MNOHS.
- Supplemental students remain officially enrolled at their local school for purposes of attendance, truancy, Special Education, state testing, etc.
- To take more than 50% of your courses as a supplemental student, you must obtain a waiver from your current school counselor. (See the OLL form during the application process.)
Full-time (comprehensive) students typically take five academic courses plus an advisory each quarter.
- MNOHS will never require you to take more courses than you need to graduate. For example, if you need only a math and science course to graduate, your MNOHS counselor will schedule you only those two courses. They may recommend that you take other courses, included Work Experience or Guided Study, that will support your post-secondary plan, but this is your choice.
