In this quarter length class, students learn and practice skills needed for college entrance and placement tests, future math classes, and life beyond high school. We’ll take an in depth look at some of the most important concepts that are essential pieces in your math toolkit! Focus will be placed on understanding why and how math works, not simply on computing answers. Story problems, articles, and exploration will regularly be used to see how math connects to college, careers, everyday life and current events.
