The Algebra 2 with Statistics course will prepare students for college Algebra and Statistics classes. Topics covered in Algebra 2 with Statistics A include a review of algebraic properties, linear functions and graphs, linear systems, matrices, quadratic equations and functions, polynomials and polynomial functions. Topics covered in Algebra 2 with Statistics B include radical functions and rational exponents, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational functions, quadratic relations, sequences, series, and probability and statistics. Course materials include video clip examples, inter-actives for inquiry-based learning, and real world application problems. Students also submit assignments and utilize activities within the ck12.org website. Course activities include discussions, Desmos.com assignments, and problem sets—offering each student a mathematics learning environment where they can understand and excel.

Standards met: These courses meet all standards and benchmarks in the Algebra strand of the Minnesota 2007 Math Standards for Grades 9-11.
