The best way to live a healthy life is to prevent health problems before they occur. This course creates opportunities for you to apply new skills and knowledge to experiencing the benefits of a physically active lifestyle. You will be required to complete a mixture of physical activities and written assignments—and to record in your workout log cardiovascular, flexibility, strength and endurance activities. You will also learn about nutrition, stress management and other aspects of a balanced healthy lifestyle. By the end of the course, you will have gained the knowledge needed to establish healthy habits to last a lifetime.
