This course is designed for students with an interest in gaining introductory experience in a variety of media art forms. The goal is to produce media arts projects that will teach students all aspects of photographic composition, manipulation and editing, and basic video production. These projects are designed to give students the opportunity to develop skills that may proceed to independent work beyond this course.

Course Materials: Photo, sound, and video editing software will be provided by MNOHS. Students need access to a digital camera.

Standards met: Most strands of the Minnesota Media Arts standards are addressed.
