In this semester-length course, students will explore five health science career pathways: health informatics, therapeutics, diagnostics, support services and biotechnology.  They will define key vocabulary for all five pathways, reflect on the skills and knowledge each pathway requires, and analyze the role of technology in the health sciences.  Class activities include discussions, journals, experiential learning assignments and quizzes to help students apply the course concepts and compare a variety of medical professions to one another and to their own developing interests.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in HOSA, a student leadership organization.
